DESIGN + BUILD REMODELING
COLUMBUS & CENTRAL OHIO
REMODELING CENTRAL OHIO HOMES SINCE 1980
A HOME THAT WORKS FOR YOU

Remodeling
is personal.

It’s your home. You know which drawer won’t open when the dishwasher is down, where everybody piles their stuff, and exactly how many people can stand in your kitchen before someone needs to leave.

We want to hear about all of it.

Before we start drawing plans or taking out walls, we take the time to understand how you live and what you’d like to change. Then we work through the layout, materials, budget, and all the little decisions that turn a good idea into a room you love spending time in.

Because you should be able to admire your new kitchen and open the dishwasher.

MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WORK

You hire us.
You work with us.

We’re Rick and Jeremy. When you hire Rick Kelley Builders, we’re the people who stay involved—from the first “Do you think we could…?” to the last detail.

We plan the work, coordinate the people, answer your questions, and figure out what to do when an old house reveals something interesting. Old houses do enjoy contributing to the conversation.

You’ll know who to call, what’s happening, and who’s responsible for getting it right. We care about the work, and we care about what it’s like for you to live through it.

OUR OWN REBUILD

This time, we were
the homeowners.

After years of remodeling other people’s homes, we took our own 1968 house in Upper Arlington down to its bones. We knew what we were getting into. Or so we told ourselves.

Seven months, approximately 400 design conversations, and one incident now known as “Avery’s Flying Bathtub” later, we had a home we love—and a fresh appreciation for what it feels like to be on the other side of the remodeling process.

Turns out knowing how to build a house doesn’t make choosing things with your spouse any easier.

Let's Talk About Your Home.

Maybe you have drawings, a folder full of photos, or very specific feelings about cabinet hardware. Maybe you just stand in your kitchen every morning thinking, “There has to be a better way.”

Either is a perfectly good place to start.

Tell us what you’re thinking. We’ll ask some questions, talk through the possibilities, and help you figure out what comes next.
